Smoothie time!

Day 9 of my dairy, red meat, and gluten free cleanse. Almost there! The biggest challenge has been trying to eat out, especially with burger love going on right now, but i found some will power!

Want a quick and nutrient dense snack to go? Try this smoothie recipe.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Dash of coconut milk
Pinch of cinnamon
1 tbsp hemp hearts
Handful of spinach or tsp of liquid chlorophyll
1 tbsp flax oil

The almond and coconut milk as well as hemp hearts supply your protein, spinach gives you a serving of vegetables for the day, cinnamon helps balance blood sugar levels, and the hemp and flax oil get you good omega 3 fats. Don’t forget the antioxidant value of the berries!
